Welcome to Wantage & Vale Shotokan Karate Clubs

club badgev5Wantage & Vale Karate Clubs were formed to enable you to learn one of the most effective forms of self defence around, incorporating punching, kicking, striking, sweeping, throwing, and many other techniques. Wantage Karate Club has been running for over 30 years.

Shotokan karate is a traditional Japanese martial art giving an excellent source of aerobic exercise that helps improve fitness, flexibility, coordination, balance, health and general well being. Regular training promotes a sound mental attitude that improves confidence, discipline and control.

Suitable for ages five to 95, male and female, the club is very friendly and family oriented and is always open to new members of any ability.

Sunday – Stanford in the Vale – Large Village Hall

  • 6.30pm – 7.30pm for all grades
  • 7:30pm – 8:00pm for brown and black belts

Wednesday – Stanford in the Vale – Large Village Hall

  • 6.00pm – 7.00pm for all grades

Friday – Stanford in the Vale – Large Village Hall

  • 6.00pm – 7.00pm for all grades
